I haven't posted in a while, and really didn't intend to post anytime soon. But, I've had a few people comment on the lack of updates.
There's been no updates to my progress in the Journey. I still haven't gotten back in the habit of going to the gym. My weight has held steady, which is good. But if I had stayed in the groove, I could have been below 300 pounds by now.
It's been 15 months since I've had a soda. I still get hit with cravings for it all the time. It's crazy... I was never a drinker or a smoker, so this is my first experience with self control. It makes you wonder if the cravings will ever go away.
I need to get back at the gym and having progress to report here on this blog...

I stopped drinking soda beverages years ago. I missed them for about a year and then the craving for them started tapering off. I'm now at the point where I find them repulsive in their over-sweetness.
If you find you can't go without soda beverages, consider mixing your own with carbonated water and flavoring. That way, you can control what goes in the drink. And you'll have fun customizing.

I smoked for many years and quit several times before it finally took for good. The cravings were with me for a good long while, but the feeling of satisfaction in knowing I dont smoke anymore is priceless. Good luck buddy. Hand in there.
